Hallucinogen

( Simon Postford )

Hallucinogen is the stage name of Simon Posford, an English musician, who specializes in psychedelic trance. Their first studio album, Twisted, released in 1995, is considered one of the most influential albums in the genre, the first track "LSD", in particular, the remnants of the sound definition of Goa trance to this day.1 Ha Performed several times in India.2

Their second album, The Lone Deranger, was released in 1997.3 A third album, In Dub, was released in 2002.

He is also the founder of the label Twisted Records4 and works on the duo Younger Brother and Shpongle.5 The younger brother initially started as a side project of Posford and Vaughan Benji and represents the transition from previous projects that emphasized a more style synthesized.6

Although his music has been described as "largely driven by psychedelia," he always performs at the same time sober because of the complexity of computers operating at his events.

Hallucinogen, the lone deranger

Simon Posford is Hallucinogen. The twisted lone deranger that warped a generation. To be honest he needs no introduction, he’s been ravaging dancefloors and opening minds for years. He has two studio albums under this name but countless other equally brilliant releases on Twisted Records. This man is probably responsible for over half of the best tunes ever. His third hallucinogen album has begun, watch this space…
